Macro Photography

A short while ago I purchased a 105mm Macro lens; Nikon of course….  What a great lens, so sharp you just wouldn’t believe it!  I spend hours over the days and weeks following its arrival finding out just good this lens is.

I think the key to good Macro Photography is finding the right subject matter, the right macro lens and most importantly combining the previous two with the right choice in f stop. I have seen so many good images, that could have been great images, ruined by either too much or too little depth of field.  Anyway this was a great project, one that I hope to revisit soon in order to create some stock images.  The world just looks so different when you you get up close and personal.
